Are you looking to navigate your way through recession, recover from the downturn, and scale up? Are you looking to develop a sales process, a unique company culture and programme for better employee engagement, increased productivity, and rapid growth?
These are all challenges that I have faced and considerations I have mastered throughout my career, and in response to the covid-19 pandemic, have set up Blanford Fox to help today’s MDs, CEOs and management teams with a wealth of experience and knowledge.
My name is David Fox and I have an immense passion for the manufacturing sector and a burning desire to help it survive, improve, and flourish.
It isn’t the first time and it certainly won’t be the last time that UK industry, and the economy as a whole faces recession and, whilst times will be hard, good companies and strong management teams will come through it better placed to take advantage of the upturn.
Of course, this will rely on manufacturers not falling into common traps that can restrict their ability to recover and this advice is coming from someone who has guided the firm I owned for almost 40 years, through three major downturns and maintained growth year on year.
Blanford Fox offers in-depth one-to-one coaching to manufacturing CEOs, MDs and Senior Executives.
A recession can be a great time to review and transform your operational model so that you re-emerge with an increased competitive edge and a stronger platform to take advantage of new opportunities that will naturally arise.
My message is simple for manufacturers in 2020. Act swiftly, focus on sales and operational efficiencies and take the time to look at how you want your business to look in the future.
I have learnt from some of the country’s most forward thinking industrialists, mastered the development of a strong business culture, better employee engagement and sales and productivity processes, and guided the firm I owned for almost 40 years through three major downturns, building it to a turnover of £23 million with over 230 employees.
I believe that future manufacturing leaders can learn from my experiences.
I believe that I have an encouraging and timely story to tell.
